Jeremy Camp Gears Up For We Cry Out The Worship Project   2010-07-19

GRAMMY-nominated artist Jeremy Camp is preparing for the release of his sixth studio album, We Cry Out: The Worship Project on August 24th on BEC Recordings.  An intentional return to worship with this upcoming release, Camp is honored to be where he is at in his career and life.

“I feel like I’ve had a growth spurt the past two years in my walk with the Lord, and I think this album reflects that deepening,” shares Camp about this project. “There’s a purity behind this record that I can’t even describe. But I didn’t write most of it, so I can’t take the credit. And I love that.”

This week fans can purchase the radio-charting debut single “Jesus Saves” at iTunes.  In addition, this week marks the beginning of the iTunes pre-order for the regular or deluxe edition of We Cry Out: The Worship Project.  The deluxe edition digital pre-order includes the album delivered on August 24th, an automatic download of the single "Jesus Saves," 5 additional songs and two videos with bonus content.

Facebook fans can also get a free acoustic song download of the title track from the new album starting today exclusively for his page fans.

Another special pre-order partnership available is with Family Christian Stores and Compassion to help rebuild Haiti.  Between now and August 23rd, any pre-order of We Cry Out: The Worship Project either online or in stores, Family Christian Stores will donate $1 to Compassion to help rebuild a church in Haiti. About We Cry Out: The Worship Project ~ Once again Camp teamed up with Grammy award-winning producer Brown Bannister to create a heartfelt worship project. Returning to his worship music roots, he co-wrote with other notable worship leaders Matt Maher, Reuben Morgan (Hillsong) and Brenton Brown. The debut radio single “Jesus Saves," which has only been out for two weeks, is already charting at AC Monitored, AC Indicator, Inspo and at the National Christian Audience Chart (where it jumped 9 spots into the Top 20 this week). At CHR the single is the No. 1 new and active single. Guest appearances include Adie Camp singing supporting vocals for her husband as well as featuring Jeremy’s live band joining him for the first time in the recording studio.
